In preface, the significance of this subject is described at first. Then, the contentof the research and the state of the art of are presented. At last, the contributions of our work are listed.The first chapter of this essay introduces some basic knowledge which include the origin the concept, definition, structure and classification of the personal digital resource. Further, we classified the personal digital resource based on information organization and differentiated some interrelated concepts of organization to personal digital resource. In addition, we showed the significance of organization to personal digital resource by comparing to public digital resource. The second part introduces one type of organization on the personal digital resource .The solution to personal digital resource in local personal computer has two way.One is organized by theme tree with managing files.The other way is usage of database filled with indexing key words.A lot of experiment are done to elutriate the software of full text database management system and desktop search engine. The perfect function solution is established in a series evaluation measure on these softwares. The third part of this thesis focuses on the organization on the online personal digital resource.Net favorites and Mylibrary are the tested object. The fourth chapter summarized the previous two chapters, introduces the concept of personal knowledge management into this thesis. At last the author again put forward prospect of personal digital resource organization.This thesis is a characterized by rich instances.
