| The concept of grid comes from electric network. Grid originally make use of computers in different places and combine them through internet to form a super virtual computer, which provide sharing of storage resources, data resources, information resources, software resources, communication and knowledge resources and so on.The architecture of grid focus on how to build a grid,including the definition of basic components and their function,the relationship between each components and their integrated method. Grid architecture is the skeleton and core skill of grid,it's important to realize that only based on a reasonable grid architecture can we design a suitable grid and make full use of it. Important grid architecture are the five layer sandglass structure, the open grid services architecture and its two different software implementation model, they concern on different aspect of grid. Grid architecture will become standardized and the combination of various technologies.To a large extent, development of grid depends on its more and more extensive application. The fact that grid is sophistic call for a convenient way be provided to use grid. It is under such circumstance grid portal occurred. Grid portal is one of the most important parts of a grid, it is the bridge that links users and grid, through which users can visit various grid resources and complete different operations. Grid portal provides a uniform access interface based on web browser, reducing the complexity of using grid and accelerate grid development.This paper mainly do research on grid architecture and grid portal application,it is balanced as following. Firstly, it summarizes the basic theories of grid technology. Secondly, it discusses the import grid architecture and compares each other. Thirdly, it analyzes the key technologies about grid portal. Finally, based on an experiment environment, this paper attempts to seek the method of how to develop grid portal and practice general grid programming skills. |
