The modern radar signal environment becomes very complex because of the rapid development of radar technology. Thus, radar signal environment simulation is very important for evaluating and optimizing the radar scout system.This dissertation is well researched for radar signal environment simulation. This dissertation has modeled for radar signal environment, such as radar pulse model, antenna direction chart model, antenna scanning model.A new radar video simulator has been developed based on the analysis and compare of different simulators, which meets the demand of radar signal environment integrated simulation system.The architecture and functions of this radar video simulator have been analyzed. The design and realization of software and hardware of the simulation system is mainly discussed.The simulation software is designed based on modularization method. It can fulfill the function of scene setting, PDW production, pulse sort and overlapping disposal. ISA bus, Memory Map and FPGA technology is adopted in designing simulation card. The video simulator is of significant flexibility and commonality. So long as the simulation software is changed, simulation of different radar signals can be implemented.The video simulator can dominate radio frequency (RF) equipment to export RF pulse to implement the function of radar signal environment integrated simulation system.The experiment of simulation system improves that the simulation system can simulate high-density radar signal environment and get all-sided experiment data. It is also of good secrecy.
