The dissertation was written with the subject of radar incorporate test system technology in production, debugging and maintenance about research and realization on instrument driver of the high speed digital test module and fault diagnostic reasoning, and the task I have accomplished in the subject.The high speed digital testing module is mostly used in test of digital circuit or digital system. It is a kind of module based on VXI bus. Because the module can generate digital excitation and acquire digital response and compare with value that has been preset with realtime hardware, it covers mostly test in digital field. The instrument driver is mainly used to be a bridge from the instrument soft-panel to the hardware. We can initialize the module and set the module state and get the module state by calling the interface function of the instrument driver. Of course, the mostly function of the instrument driver is upload and download of data files. This paper detailedly describes the design principle and method of the instrument driver, and puts emphasis on design thought and flow design and implement method. The file transport protocol is a important point in this part.The fault diagnosis is almost final requirement of test system or maintenance system, and it is the focus point of testing field. The approach of fault dictionary often needs to simulate all fault states and extracts corresponding character of circuit, then setup the dictionary by corresponding relation. When beginning to diagnose fault, we can consult the fault dictionary with gotten realtime circuit character. This paper describes diagnosis principle and strategy, and detailedly describes the practical fault diagnosis software which is designed by myself, including user interface, storage pattern of fault dictionary, editing module of fault dictionary and program call module.At last, this paper describes debugging and verification of instrument driver and fault diagnosis software, and discusses the advantage and disadvantage. Then the paper looks ahead the future work and explores the relation of system design and test design.
