The Application Of Intelligent Gateway Based On Osgi And Implementation

This dissertation represents the technology of OSGi (open service gateway initiative) which has a wide space in the field of smart-home, and details the design and implementation of that short message controls x10 devices.OSGi specification has a big potential in the market of residential gateway, as a middleware technology standard it can shield the differences of hardware, the differences of operating system. As an open standard it provides an open platform for service providers, software developers, equipment suppliers, operators;It enables service providers dynamically load and upgrade services on the residential gateway which is connected with network equipment and local network, and allows multiple networks and equipment to share a gateway;It reduces the costs of development of value-added service and providing broadband for family.For easily understanding the architecture and principle of application running on the OSGi gateway this dissertation details the contents of OSGi specification , then introduces the architecture of middleware software JES (Java embedded server).After detailing the OSGi specification and JES software, this dissertation takes an example to introduces the architecture of applications and steps of development, then introduces the details of design and implementation of short message service based on GSM technology, and tells some technical details happened in the process of development;and introduces the x10 service based on x10 protocol, finally designs and implements the application of short message controlling x10 device.
