Convergence adjustment is a key process when producing CRT rear screen project TV, which is not only has impact on the image quality of the TV Set but also greatly impacts the efficiency of producing the TV set. This article commits itself to develop an auto-adjust system for the use of industry, it will be a replacement of the traditional manual way and it can satisfy the needs of the producing such as the time cost and the quality for the adjustment.This system actually is to mimic the manual behavior by using optical system and the image processing technology. By analyzing characteristics of the manual behavior and the convergence aberration of the CRT rear screen project TV, we have found the way to mimic the manual behavior and we have introduced some measures to lower the time cost and improve the adjust precision.This article divides to five chapter, the first chapter is to explain the theory about how the CRT rear screen project TV form the image, how the convergence distortion comes into being and the peculiarity of the manual way, then analyze the complications for the convergence adjust, finally have a discuss on the develop state about this system;the second chapter is to introduce problems when developing this system and have a try to find out the causation, then give some ways to solve the problems, finally explain the structure of the system;the third chapter is to introduce the theory and the design of the signal source, mainly discuss the design of the signal source, the circuit for the I~2C and the auto-focus of the optical system;the fourth chapter is the main chapter of this article, it mainly has a discuss on the design of the control software of the system, such as the arithmetic of the image processing, the way to calculate the aberration, then have a try to give some prove for the arithmetic to see if they are in effect, finally describe the flow of the process and how to deal with the exceptions;the fifths chapter is to give a summary about the characteristic of the system, then has a discuss about some potential technology problem and tries to find out the cause, finally give some advices about howto improve the system.
