With the advent of the era of information, the rapid development of computer multimedia technology and the widely application of network technology, people want to get larger screen, higher brightness, more colorful, higher resolution in more and more occasions, such as all kinds of command and the monitoring centers, network management centers, broadcasting and TV stations, urban management centers, environmental monitoring centers, etc. As the current level of technology could not meet the requirements all above using one single display device, the technology of splicing display appeared.On the market at present, the splicing display units are mainly provided by Japanese Mitsubishi, Taiwan’s sake, and European BUCK. Price is high, although not a smooth channels of communication. In order to meet customer’s requirements at performance, quality, price and maintenance, break the market monopoly, the research project is set up based on years of development experience of projector design. Base on DLP projection technology, LED light source is adopted instead of the lamp source for the first time, designed as a splicing display unit of a large screen with color wheel, to meet the demand for large screen splicing display of the market.Through the efforts of the team for a year, the development of this product is completed in the middle of the 2014. Through improvements time after time during the period, finally all aspects of the initial design goals are achieved, and the reliability test validation are passed all, steping into the mass production stage smoothly.
