With the development of computer technology, in image processing technology and the development of the display technology, large screen display equipment is becoming more and more mature, more cost-effective, especially DLP display technology, overcomes the shortcomings of the CRT and LCD display technology, low brightness, contrast and color consistency weakness, gradually become the future development trend display monitor system center. Digital light processing (Digital Light Processing DLP) technology has broken the traditional analog display limitations, improved digital video potential, due to the digital characteristics of DLP, which can generate high brightness, high contrast and high resolution display image, therefore, more and more applications based on DLP technique. Accelerating information construction will make the industry and commercial market for projection and large screen display equipment needs continue to maintain high growth, the popularization of information technology in education deeply and government, city information, as well as a variety of business activities and economic development increasingly active, will become the future industry and commerce market of projection and large screen display equipment demand in the main. At present, all kinds of emergency command center, city traffic, service dispatching center of large screen display system basically adopts DLP rear projection large screen splicing display system. As the industry matures, customers and the development of enterprises has gradually become rational, as the backbone of the industry to promote the development of display of large screen projection mosaic, will promote the integration of large screen display system industry healthy and rapid development.Therefore, this paper on the basis of the relevant literature, analysis of the current design method of DLP rear projection big screen box system, as well as the shortcomings of its existence, the hardware design of large screen box unit (mechanical structure design, the installation position of the reflector, projector type and screen type selection) and DLP rear projection big screen box system software design. The conclusions are as following:(1)Through the analysis of existing large screen structure,the design of an open box structure, breaking the original box independent unit structure, making the box that the weight, cost, transportation have been very big improvement.
