With the development of the information revonation and computer science, the digital signal processing technique has become a key science technique. That DSP chips appear makes algorithm of digital signal processing implemented. At the moment, the DSP chips have been used extensively in all kinds of fields of information science, e. g., telecommunications, remote control, real time image processing and so on. The real time image processing system require the system to calculate a lot of data in the limited time. DSP chips operates the add and mulplication operations at the same time, and complete a couple of times calculation of single processor during a command period, with the unique Harvard bus as well as the paralell storage structure.This thesis introduces the remote-monitor-control system based on TMS320C6711. This system comprises video image sampling, encoding, network transmission. The video image sampling model is composed of SAA7113 and XC95288XL. The video PAL analog signal is encoded according to SAA7113 regulation and the YUV is obtained, whose format is 4:2:2. The chip XC95288XL receives the output of the chip SAA7113, and then converts it into CIF(352×288) format, producing the 18-bit address generator and implementing the frame cache. After chip CPLD finishes the data sampling, it send interrupt signal to DSP and inform chip TMS320C6711 of the data stored in SRAM. Chip TMS320C6711 start interrupting, and set up EDMA hand over the data information from SRAM to SDRAM. DSP encodes data information bits while it examines whether the network transmission port tranmits the useful signals. Once it receives the interrupt signal from chip 16550, DSP starts interrupting and sends the processed data using the pre-defined format to UART port. In view of the complexity in engineering environment, the transmit port takes advantage of multiple-Baud-choice design technique, which makes the design operate smoothly in the range from 9. 6k-ll5. 2k, as well as implemented easily.
