Based On Knowledge Management Library Virtual Reference Services

There are close relationship between knowledge management and library. The implementation of library knowledge management involves knowledge sharing,explicit knowledge.tacit knowledge,and transition from each other . this paper makes an widely investigation and introduction on typical examples of library knowledge management implementation at home and abroad .then analyses and argues that at present knowledge management implementation in libraries are now being limited within information management deepening .institution reformation and library automation .Based on the discussion the author proposed that library virtual reference service should be seted as the enterpoint of the implementation of library knowledge management.Based on the analyses of the concept of library virtual reference service and the concept of library knowledge management, we argues that there exist correspondence between library virtual reference service and library knowledge management ,and could provide new thoughts and development opportunities for each other.This paper also put forward and discusses the viewpoint that the new thought of knowledge management should been introduced to library virtual reference service,and the implementation of library knowledge management should begin with library virtual reference service.
