| The radar simulator is usually used for simulating radar echo which contains radar targets information. Based on the special requirements of a radar system, we mainly discussed the radar echo signal models, radar simulator system architecture and its engineering realization method.In this thesis, we firstly introduced the radar simulator system architecture, the radar echo models and their realization methods were studied, especially on radar targets and land clutter. Finally, the engineering realization scheme of hardware and software of the radar simulator was presented based on the special requirements of a radar system. In this scheme, high-speed digital signal processor (DSP) were combined for radar echo simulation and five independent targets could be simultaneously real-time simulated. Moreover, the date generated by the radar simulator and that generated by computer were compared. The result shows that the radar simulator can realize all the functions correctly. |
