In an older microwave communication system, analog signal was transferred in 8MHz band, and its carrier frequency is 2.4GHz which can transfers signal away from transmitter about 20-50 kilometers in FSK modulator. Now we are required to use the existent resource to transfer high-speed digital signal without any changes to the transmitter and modem. The analog signal should to be replaced by digital signal while the band is still 8MHz. After changes the new system can transfer not only analog signal but also high-speed digital signal. This dissertation introduces the purpose and methods how to implement the transmit card in the new system. The main task is the digital signal processing on baseband before the modulator.We can implement the transmit card by some technologies such as DSP and PCI bus interface of computer. The data transmit card implements baseband signal processing on transmit side , such as encryption,data packeting, signal channel encoding and interlaving which are inplemented in DSP. The output signal is sent to the FSK modem. The data transmit card is inserted into PCI slot of computer and exchanges data with computer through PCI bus.
