The purpose of the paper is to apply the PCI bus technology of computers to implement the radar communication card. Under material background, the paper introduces the design method of radar communication card based on the PCI bus, surrounding the prominent transmission of PCI bus. The article tells each model's function of the card, and how to implement in details. The article explains that the PCI bus controller, PCI9052's bridge effect, how to use hardware description language to complete the logic function design of the card, configure the EEPROM, and the process of the bus data transmission. The article includes the content of fiber transmission. The paper mainly concerns with the hardware circuit ,including design and test. Apply QuartusII and Synplify_pro to design, synthesis and simulate the FPGA. Use PADs to complete the entirely design of the circuit. The paper teaches the drivers and the tool programming the drivers simply. In the end, tells using Windriver to test the card's hardware circuit. The task of the radar communication card was completed successfully. And the card has been applied to a radar communication system.
