With the increasingly expanded applications of CAMA network, thecontinuously increased devices are used in each operating point in thefield of communication, which makes the operators and manufacturesdifficult to operate and maintain these devices. It is common to find theproblem until the important fault occurs, which have brought great loss.In order to improve the efficiency of managing and maintaining theCDMA MSS, higher requirements on the network management system areput forward, and the running statuses of the onsite devices must bemonitored real-timely to prevent the hidden troubles. Therefore, itbecomes particularly important to transfer real-time information. Underthis condition, we began to develop the pre-alarm subsystem. Running onthe basis of the fault management of the network management system, thepre-alarm subsystem takes full advantage of the exiting wireless Internetresource to set up a stable transfer channel between on site and the R&Dcenter. The pre-alarm subsystem real-timely collects the early prealarms,alarms, false logs and other information, accurately sends them to theR&D center through the channel and informs the related personnel inmultiple ways in time to realize the monitoring to the running statuses ofthe remote onsite devices.This paper firstly introduces the CDMA MSS, and analyzes theCDMA mobile network structure, MSS structure, software structure andnetworking model; then analyzes the network management system of theCDMA MSS, giving emphasis on the principle of the fault managementsystem; and then gives the detailed descriptions of developmentbackground, design philosophy and design plan of the pre-alarmsubsystem. In the development phase, I mainly take charge of saving theprealarms on the site, controlling the uniform caching and stable transferof prealarms, alarms and error logs, and receiving saved data andreminding of the related notices in the Nanjing emergency treatmentcenter. The detailed design and realization processes of the pre-alarmsubsystem will be detailed in the following chapters.
