In this paper, the structure of Field Programmable Gate Array(FPGA) andthe process how to design FPGA with HardWare Described Language are introduced,some basic principle in design are specialized, and combine two application, one inMIMO system(multiple input and multiple output) collecting and storing data withEP1CQ240C8 by ALTREA, the other in digital shortwave Broad Band receiversystem dealing with signal arithmetic real time with XC2V1000 by XILINX, exhibitthe advantage of FPGA in digital signal processing domain. The main researchingwork in this paper can be summarized as follows:(1) The research of muti-channels data collection with SDRAM controller based onFPGAUsing FPGA to control the new generation store memory SDRAM, to store thebaseband I/Q data which in MIMO system, so as to analyze the arithmetic by thosedata.The capacity of memory will reach to 512Mbyte.When finished ,the data are sentto computer. The whole design are completed in QUARTUS II with VHDL.(2) The EMC analysis of muti-channels data collection boardBecause the working clock of SDRAM is 100MHZ,the speed of reading and writing of SDRAM are 100MHZ,according to this reason, the EMC of the board are considered, making the digital system works more steady.(3) Using the FPGA to deal with channels in in digital shortwave Broad Band receiver systemTo control AGC of antenna, track the signal which come from foreside of system and just the AGC, enhance dynamic range of AD and protecting the foreside of system, to pack the I/Q data and form the frame which need by DSP data analysis, to emend the amplitude and the phase of I/Q data, make it image the true value in channels.
