Design Of If Module For Dual Channel Antenna Amplitude-phase Measuring System

With the development of modern radar, measuring the actual performance of the antenna can not only meet the design target, but also verify antenna theory is correct or not. Therefore, antenna measurement has an extremely important role in the development of antenna and radar. With the development of antenna theory and antenna measurement technology, the near field measurement has become the most common and advanced technology antenna measurement method. With the development of radar technology, especially phased array radar which has thousands of T/R modules, its demand for the accuracy、speed and flexibility of antenna measurement is higher and higher.Thesis designs an IF module for dual channel antenna amplitude-phase measuring system based on planar scanning near-field measurement, it is composed of several modules, and the main content of the thesis is : the first one is signal conditioning and sampling module, which mainly finish the gain control、difference transformation and anti-aliasing filtering of dual channel analog IF signal from the vibration source and the excitation source, and then quantitative it to digital IF signal by ADC; The second one is amplitude-phase measuring module, which mainly processes digital IF signal with all-phase FFT, then gets amplitude data and phase data, and adds time stamp to encapsulate into a frame; The third one is data transmission module, which mainly finish transmitting amplitude-phase data packet to Processor System(PS),and it has direct transfer mode and cache transfer mode; The fourth one is embedded processor module, which mainly finish Ethernet communication function based on Lw IP protocol stack, and finish data interaction between Processor System(PS) and Programmable Logic(PL).The fifth one is the system control module, which finish the command parsing from PC, and then initialize the configuration to every module and control the system.Thesis verifies the accuracy of design scheme by the hardware circuit test and system test of IF module for dual channel antenna amplitude-phase measuring system, and the performance of IF module meets expectations.
