Along with the development of the network technology of computer, datas on network are greatly increasing. This causes that many enterprises have more and more requirements for storage system. Storage system should provide the function of remote storage to be used in the field of disaster recovery and remote backup and so on. However, traditional storage architecture do not have that ability. Therefore, many business institutions and enterprises anxiously need an available method to store and maintain their datas. On the other hand, datas, hardwares, system, services are all suffered, sometimes it is even disastered when computer system meets disasters such as fire, flood, earthquake, war or human factors. Then, how can enterprises recover their business in time when they suffer from disasters. Therefore, it is important for enterprises to solve the problem of disaster tolerance in construction for information. Because of anxious requirements of many enterprises, network storage and network disaster tolerance has become a research hot in the fields of data storage and network security.This thesis focuses on the key technologys while developing network disaster tolerance system based on DP storage according to current requirements of enterprises. And the primary works are as follows:(1) Research on current popular technology of network storage, especially IP network storage technology based on iSCSI technology.(2) Research on key technologys while developing and implementing network disaster tolerance system.(3) Have designed and implemented a network disaster tolerance system based on IP storage. Given discussions of details for system architecture, functions of subsystem, and also implementation for all the subsystems.(4) Have tested the primary fuctions and storage capabilities of the system, and experimentation have proved that the system worked in order and the design and implementation of this system was feasible.
