Dvb-t Channel Encoder Research And Design

The television broadcasting is changing from analog mode to digital mode. It is an urgent affair to develop the technology of the digital television. To popularize the digital television, we should develop the system of the digital video broadcasting. Since the Digital Television Terrestrial Broadcasting (DTTB) is being studied in China, this item is the design of the channel coder.I compare the three kind of international standard at first, then I make a material study of the transmitting and receiving systems according to the European standard — DVB-T. After studying and designing the arithmetic of the modules of the channel coder, I use the Verilog code to design and simulate the circuits: energy dispersal, outer interleaving, inner coding and inner interleaving. The simulation results show the function and capability of modules is designed successfully.
