AM broadcast has some advantage, such as farness of the transmission distance, extensive covered area. So it is one of the best way to achieve national,international broadcast cover. Digital Radio Mondiale conforms to the requirement, establishes the international criterion of digital AM broadcast.This dissertation is dependant on the standard of the DRM digital broadcasting system, the system of DRM transmitter transmitting and signal processing are the main clew, which divided the system of DRM transmitter in two parts: the hardware of transmitting signal and the software of processing signal. Compression algorithm for source coding could overcome the losing of audio signal in the transmission condition of narrow channel. So that it could send a much higher audio quality at a low bit rates. This dissertation primarily analysises the principle, then complete software implement of AAC with SBR, and simulates. When digital AM signal gets across the transmission channels of ionosphere, by channel coding, it could avoid attenuation and the interference of many paths. This dissertation primarily analysises the function, then completes specific software realization of every channel coding module. The technology of OFDM could availably confront the interference of among signals, and analysises the principle of OFDM, then design the mode and structure of transmission frame for transmitting channel. The hardware primarily magnifies analog signals, so the analog signals could far transmit, according that function, design the analog front-end. Then the combination of the software of the DRM transmitter and analog front forms the perfect the transmitter system of DRM.Finaly, the work of this dissertation is concluded and some advices about the further work are proposed.
