Digital has influenced more and more aspects of our life, digital television will gainground in the future, and digital coding, storage , transport, edit of television programwill be widely used. Digital television system bring a revolution in program recording,editing and transport. MPEG2 make all aspects ,from program borned in studio toreceiver in every family , in a digital progress.The transport system based on MPEG2 coding and decoding is the mainstreamproduct resolving program editing and transport.After introduce some basic knowledge about digital television broadcasting systemand MPEG2 standard, this dissertation will describe a simple model of digitaltelevision broadcasting system, explain the hardware and software platform ofbroadcasting server in the model, this is the core content of this dissertation. At last,after analyzing the performance and feasibility of arithmetic, draw a conclusion.MPEG2 , generic standard about motive video and associated audio signal coding ,was brown forward by Motive Picture Expert Group, and widely used in broadcastingnetwork, MPEG2 standard is the base of this dissertation, this article describe therelative knowledge of MPEG2, and make out the resolving blue print.Hardware platform of this project is P4 level PC with transport stream broadcastingcard made by Beijing Blue Top Company, debugging device include transportanalyser made by Beijing Blue Top Company ,decoder made by Chengdu XingaoCompany and a generic color TV set. Software platform is Microsoft?Windows XPProfessional, tool of development is Microsoft?Visual C++ 6.0 .The core arithmetic include 5 parts, protocol disposal, clock disposal, video and audionon-slot joint, code rate calculating, and fixing code rate stream broadcasting.After test the output stream with transport stream analyzer and decoder, I confirmedthat the arithmetic is right, and i think it has a valuable foreground.
