Software Design And Implementation Of DS9000 Transport Stream Analyzer

The research on digital television is becoming one of the most important areas inhigh technology research fields because of its huge potential market and economicprofit. As a necessary debug tool in the development and application of digitaltelevision, DTV monitor and analysis device will be broadly applied to devicemanufacture, network installation, monitor of service running status and so on. So it isnecessary to research and develop DTV monitor and analysis device.The functions of DS9000 Transport Stream Analyzer are introduced in this paper.The software design and implementation of DS9000 analyzer is presented in detail. DS9000 Transport Stream Analyzer is developed with the cooperation of TianjinDeviser Electronics Co., Ltd. It is on the basis of TDA0301 Monitor and AnalysisDevice developed by Digital Center of Tianjin University. DS9000 is a highperformance workstation based on Windows platform. It provides DVB ASI and SPIinterface and such functions as follows for transport stream compliance with MPEG-2and DVB: real-time online monitor, detailed offline analysis and transport streamdecoding. It can be applied to all the phases of DTV development, manufacture andstream transport. Compared with TDA0301, DS9000 is improved in both software algorithm andfunction implementation. The real-time performance has been enhanced, databasequery function has been implemented and configuration file and dynamic link library(dll) is provided. The software design and implementation of DS9000 has been finished and theproduct has been put into market, it has received good comments from customers.
