Container crane remote monitoring system is an item in the port laboratory of the Simulative Center of Navigation in Shanghai Maritime University, which is a key laboratory of the Ministry of Communications. The Author had participated in studying this project and written this dissertation.Container crane is the most important equipment in ports, especially for the remote monitoring equipment. It can not only reduce the operator's working intensity and cost, but also monitor the operation conditions of equipment for great convenience of maintenance.The purpose of this dissertation is to use modem monitoring means to monitor and maintain heavy-duty equipment, improve enterprise automatization level, increase economic benefits, reduce difficulty and intensity on equipment operation, and offer historical data inquiry for maintaining and repairing.The main content of this dissertation is as follow.1. Discussed the general overview about the development of container crane and the meaning and necessity of remote monitoring; Brief introduction of Control configuration software, as well as the task, request, objective of this project.2. Discussed the container crane system, including the characteristics and main technical parameters in four main device organization; Summarized the electric control system and monitoring network system of the container crane.3. Described the development of remote monitoring and monitoring design frame of the container crane. Concrete Introduction of the main content of container crane remote monitoring.4. Brief introduction of the configuration thought and software InTouch, analysis of the demand of monitoring function. Emphasis of this part would be placed on the design and implementation of the interface configuration.5. Introduced the basic situation about real-time database, expounded the realization of monitoring function, including animated link, PLC datacommunication, related database, system alarm and print, etc. 6. Brief summary for this project, prospected the future study about relevant subject. The research and development of this subject adopted thought and method of overall plan, considered the development of container crane remote on the whole, started with the system at the beginning, designed and planned the whole frame picture, laid a solid foundation for the following smooth completion of configuration interface design and function realization.Through developing, the dissertation has finished studying the system, the interface design of monitoring configuration and realization of monitoring function for container crane. The implementation method of monitoring station adding configuration software can improve enterprise's operation efficiency and management maintain level.
