Along with the construction and development of national economy in our country,crane is widely used in industrial production and high-speed trains,ships,bridges and other projects construction.Crane acts as industrial production and common heavy engineering machinery in the construction of infrastructure,its security is highly paid attention.However,the health status and safety supervise of traditional cranes are based on periodical labor inspection and the intelligent information degree is low in most of cranes.In view of the above background,a crane remote monitoring system based on IOT(Internet of Things)introducing into status supervising and safety evaluating of cranes is developed.This system can monitor various parameters and realize the remote control function and solve the problem that the data in local monitoring system can't be checked remotely.The main contents of this paper are as follows:(1)System architecture design.This paper follows the three-layer architecture of the Internet of Things to design the system which includes perception layer,network layer and application layer.The whole monitoring system regards remote server as the core to manage regions cranes and provides service for the users to monitor and control the crane remotely.(2)The development of sensor networks.This paper aims at the system monitor objects to select and test sensors,and develops the programmes according to the different sensor nodes,and choose the CANBUS as the transmission way of sensor network to realize the collection of various parameters of crane.(3)The development of monitoring unit.The crane monitoring unit is developed based on STM32F103ZET6,and the real-time operating system uC/OS is transplanted in this unit.This unit can record the operation condition and operating environment of cranes and control the carne automaticly.(4)The development of crane LAN.This paper chooses chip CC2530 as the core to design the hardware of ZigBee node and develops programmes in views of the end node and the coordinator node to build a crane local area network and realize the communication between the monitor unit and the embedded gateway.(5)The development of embeded gateway.Based on S5PV210 as the hardware core,this paper developes the embedded gateway hardware platform and transplantes WinCE6.0 embedded operating system and develops an application to realize the data transfer.(6)The development of server.Gateway service program,database and Web application are developed in the server which selects C/S(Client/Server)and B/S(Brower/Server)mixed architecture.The gateway service programme is responsible for managing the gateway,and the database saving monitoring data and user data,and Web application providing users with site entrance for user interacting with the server.(7)Comprehensive testing.In this paper,the test mainly includes server stress and performance testing,Web application compatibility testing,remote control testing and whole system testing.The experiment shows that the system meets the expected functional requirements which can be used to monitor environment and running state of cranes and provide remote control function and reliable data access service for users.
