Supply Chain Management (SCM) based on "Horizontal Integration" management idea emerges as the times require. The main research of this thesis concentrates on the material supplying part in the supply chain.According to the analysis of raw material supplying in nonferrous metallurgy enterprise, which has continuous processing, the paper proposed a raw material supplying management system. There are 3 functional sub systems and 2 support sub systems in the system, and their systematic architectures are given in this paper. The system assured the right production and aimed at minimum raw material purchase and store cost of enterprise.The material inventory is a core part of material supplying. A general framework of inventory optimization system was proposed in the thesis. A reasonable inventory model was further established. Moreover a chaotic migration-based pseudo parallel genetic algorithm (CMPPGA) was put forward, which applied the idea of isolated evolution and information exchanging in distributed Parallel Genetic Algorithm by serial program structure to solve optimization problem of low real-time demand. In this algorithm, asynchronous migration of individuals during parallel evolution is guided by a chaotic migration sequence. Thanks to that the sequence is ergodic and stochastic, information exchanging among sub-populations is ensured to be efficient and sufficient. Simulation study of CMPPGA and its application to inventory optimization have proved its strong global search ability, superiority to SGA and high immunity against premature convergence.In the last part of the thesis the application software of raw material supplying management system in nonferrous metallurgy enterprise was developed by using Object Oriented (OO) idea and modularization methods.
