On The Management System Reform Of China Agriculture Press

China Agriculture Press, one of the famous publishing enterprises in China faces new challenges after China's entry into the WTO. As a manager of China Agriculture Press, I try to find out the problems which cumber the development of the Press, and give suggestions to make the press more competitive and successful. The paper is divided by four parts. The first part gives a general introduction of publishing industry development of China, the gap between the publishing industry of China and that in developed countries. The second part lists the challenges faced by Chinese publishing enterprises after China entered into the WTO. The third part presents detailed information of China Agriculture Press, such as its history, the challenges it faces, etc. The fourth part is the key part of this paper. The suggestions on how to change the managerial mechanism of China Agriculture Press are given, including the operation mechanism, evaluation system, cost control system and brand management mechanism.
