Based On The Xml Standard Parts Library And Applied Research

During products design, large numbers of standard parts are used.The design efficiency is improved. It is an important symbol of mordern manufacture. But how to build a parts library of independence of the platform is urged. With the development of network,XML has performed as data presentation and change. XML-based data have the good structure and expansion ,also independent of the platform and space.These characteristics of XML make it possible that bidding an standard parts library which is independent of platform. After analysing the hiberarchy of standard parts and parameters, an XML-based standard parts document is designed.Further a system framework based on XML is given. In this system,the parameters and the seed parts are detached,so independence of CAD is realized.At last,the interface between standard parts library and the CAD system is reasearched and the realization of using this libray's parts is made in UG.
