The development and application of network technology in the networked manufacturing has become an important trend of manufacturing industry, the share of networked manufacturing resource has gradually become a hot issue in recent years. In the Web parts library, the distribution of parts information makes the information search of parts has the certain difficulty. For common components, the enterprise often builds their own desired part family, there is description and ambiguity of part information in parts library.In order to solve the problem of ambiguity of part information, it studies on the parts ontology modeling based on semantics, the description of the ontology exists workload, higher difficulty, and it puts forward to describe the part information description method based on ontology semantic features. On the basis, it compares with the traditional method of part information describing:part family and SML, it proposes a method of combining with the two kinds of methods to describe the information of parts, Then it introduces the read and write API on ontology is saved in OWL file format for query operation, it can improve the efficiency of component query. In order to facilitate transmission of network and description of knowledge of the model, In the above example of ontology model using ontology modeling tool of establishion of Protege, The ontology is processed by the eclipse and jena parser, After the use of mapping rules as well as the mapping are given in this paper, it transforms OWL file to STEP file and inverses transform. In order to use intuitively mechanical parts library of the network without installing any commercial3D modeling software, The WRL file to realize the translation, rotation, scaling operation using the technology of JAVA3D and X3D. It uses the parametric technology to build parametric model for parts. Lastly, In order to validate its feasibility, after the analysis of parts library system, it develops the parts library system based on semantic WEB use the JUSTEP software.
