It can realize the functions of data input ,data displaying, information querying, analysis and decision-making to geographic information by means of advance information technique. GIS has got a great achievement in recent 40 years. It is abroad used in areas such as city planning , management of environment and resource, inspecting and protecting of zoology condition , demarcation of geology, Lines Management of power network, prevention of calamity, management of Telecom Resource Network and so on.As the upholding network of the Telecom Enterprise , Resource System takes on managements of all resource in Telecom Resource Network. Along with the increase of the number of clients of telecom, the existing system becomes an obstacle in the Telecom enterprise 's of aim to achieve more progress . To realize the goal of the graphic resource management system becomes a trend to every Telecom enterprise.In this paper ,the basic theory of GIS is generally introduced from aspects such as data structure , data capturing , data analyzing and data displaying . And also the application models of GIS are discussed . So are the application areas and the main productions of GIS technology . According to the characters of telecom resource system , an application model is given which is based on the three tiers . hi this C/S model, COM is used . And also the GIS application model is based on the way rules and transaction logics of Telecom Enterprise , which is sealed in COM . The advance computer network techniques also is utilized in the system . The techniques amalgamation of GIS ,artificial intelligence ,data miming ,data fusing is also put forward in decision-making. At last the feasibility and practicability of the application scheme are proved by the design and development of Changsha Telecom Resource Management System. |
