Object-oriented Analysis And Design Of Educational Administration Management Information System

With the rapid progress in higher education, such as expanding enrollment of new students, promoting quality education, individualizing education, fostering creative spirit and capability, practicing credit system, educational administration management is now confronted with unprecedented challenges, which make it necessary to develop new educational administration management information system (EAMIS) in order to meet the needs of the reform of higher education.The thesis has made study in the following aspects:First, the general ideas of designing new EAMIS have been stated. The systematic organization and functions are divided into eleven functional sub-modules followed by their functions analyzed in detail according to the school-institute management model.Secondly, by using the technology of OMT, the author analyzes the Object Module, the Dynamic Module and the Functional Module of EAMIS with details and presents the Object Module in subject layer, the Event Trace Diagrams and State Diagrams of the Dynamic Module, and the Data Flow Diagrams of Functional Module one by one with the study of the relationship of the above three events.Thirdly, according to the three modules of OMT, scientific work in the design layer is indicated, which includes the integrated method of Client/Server and Browser/Server, the functional division of front-end of the system, the design of the framework, the design and realization of object, the application design of database.Finally, the paper also suggests the technologies of lax-coupling, equity, security, and integrality of data in management rules in this system design, which embodies the advanced and scientific feature of this system.In short, the EAMIS provides the creative thoughts in the field, enables the educational administrators to break away from the multifarious educational trifles, and increases the efficiency of administration work; it also offers an efficient, advanced and reliable management techniques for the relevant decision-makinglayer to fulfill the modernization, scientificity and standardization of management approach of educational administration.
