According to the requirement of the "Ninth-Five-Year" project,new kind ofMercury Cadminum Telluride detectors has been developed to protect detectors from laser damage.With the (HgCd)Te detectors optical absorption controlling circuit, a measuring system has been set up. On the basics of introducing the reason of aninterpretation of the substantial difference between the effective Franz-Keldysh shift A/lee and the maximum Franz-Keldysh shift em of the cutoff wavelength c,therelation of the thickness of insulator laser and D, and effective Franz-Keldysh shift has been analyzed,and through discuss the relation of the thickness of insulator layerand quantum tunnel effection,the thickness of MIS type of MCT detector's insulatorlaser has been determined.The variation of the MIS type detector's optical absorption coeffecient reaches 2700%, Dp reaches 5.22 x 109 cmHz 1/2 W -1 .As our knowledge,this is the first report in PRC about strong Franz-Keldysh effect and high Dp of MIS type MCT detectors. At last we describe the test result of the measuring system,and it shows that our research is successful.
