Research And Implementation Of Protection Functions In The Ptn Network Management System

With the development of the IP bearer network packet and service network,PTN(packet transport network)is gradually replacing the already mature SDH(Synchronous Digital Hierarchy)network,with explosive growth and complexity of the network traffic,PTN is also facing more and more pressure.And compared to the traditional SDH network,PTN network has better QoS guarantee,richer OAM management,and more reliable protection.With the construction of LTE networks,the development of ALL-IP business and explosive growth in data services,thebusinessfluencyforuserexperienceincreasingly demands requirements of PTN network with higher reliability and survivability.In order to improve the reliability and the survivability of PTN,researching on the protection functions needs an important consideration.The thesis comes from the school-enterprise cooperation PTN intelligent network management system.The network management system mainly manages the network elements in PTN Network,sendscommands and businesses to different network elements through a unified operation,it is also reported by SBI interface which gathers NE device alarms,then deals with the information and sends them to the network element equipment.The paper is based on the protection functionsof original network management system [11].According to the needs of the users,the paper redesigns and implements the LSP protection and MSP protection function in the network management system,in addition,the new LSP ring protection function is implemented,the main research includes design objectives and demand analysesof the protection functions,design,code and debug of the protection functions,construction of system environment,and test of the protection functions.Protection technology is the key technology which PTN network normally transmits,so we must configure the perfect protection functions in the network management system.According to the requirements of the company,in this paper the writer focuses on the characteristics of LSP protection,MSP protection and LSP ring protection functions,proposesthe designs of three protection mechanisms relying on the level of the network management system,completes codes from the Client to the Business Logic Layer,shows the test results of the three protection functions.The main research work is as follows:1.From the present situation of PTN network,the paper analyzes the importance of PTN network protection technology.The paper studies the general framework of PTN network management system which the Protection Functions rely on,respectively,from the client,business logic and SBI layer network management system are designed.2.According to the hierarchical model of network management system,the thesis analyzes the application scenarios of the three protections.3.Three data protection models are designed,what's more,the paper implements the MSP protection function,LSP 1: 1 protection function and LSP ring protection function in the network management system.4.Taking LSP ring protection as an example,the paper achieves the basic operations of LSP ring protection,including create,modify,delete operations of the LSP ring protection function and switchoperation in the protection,the writer also proposesa solutionforexisting problems inthe results that switch operation of the LSP protectionreports.
