In Mid-1990s,Internet was very popular in science field > government and industry research .The appearance of WWW(World Wide Web) widens the scope of Internet and makes millions of new users beyond of science land in Internet, also makes Internet more popular in public. Nowadays, Web is increasing over the speed of 2000% every year.The spread of the network and the skills of computer develop rapidly, which verified that human beings has entered information society .At the same time information society puts out many demands for the education and instruction of the intellectuals. First of all, the intellectuals should possess the ability of "information" and "creativity". Secondly, the economic development asks the labors to be educated during their whole life. Besides all above, the knowledge explosion asks that the quality and efficiency of education must be raised in a large scale. The network teaching aided on Internet can well satisfied the demands that information society puts out for education and instruction of intellectuals, so the popularity of Internet calls for many opportunities and means for the development of education.Network teaching aided on Internet is a new way to teach which based on Internet ,so Internet is the main board of carrying information , is a new teaching skill which combines Internet with multi-medium. Network teaching is not restricted by time^ space and place, because it can spread everywhere by network and everyone can learn freely everywhere and at any time , at the same time, they can get high-level education. It is true "public education" and "graduate education". What's more, Internet can provide interactive human-computer interface which has abundant image and words, has large scales of knowledge and information database. All of these can interest the students and make them found the structure of the knowledge, can make their dreams to gain, refreshed and even created knowledge to be true.The development and demands of society make network teaching more and more important, and there have been many network teaching systems till now. But lack of characteristics is the same shortcoming of them, and even is only E-textbooks in some system, so the efficiency of network teaching system is lowed and, the whole system lacks attraction and just popularized in form. The current emergency is how to improve the characteristics of network teaching system.In recent years, the skill of Agent is an active branch of artificial intelligence field, which is artificial assistant who has intellects. It can administer its duty by itself according to thedemands to fit for the complex task. It can also work at itself and circumstance, and react to the circumstance. The skill is paid much attention by many research fields because of its intellects, freedom, interact and mobility. The future of the skill is extensive.According to the shortcoming of Network teaching and the merit of Agent skill, in order to construct a new network teaching system to improve the characteristics, this article tries to combine Agent skill with Network teaching to provide well circumstance and improve efficiency and result of study.The main work of this article is following:(1) Analysis the current network teaching and find out the shortcoming, and put out the spirit of combining Agent skill with network teaching.(2) Put out a model of network teaching system which based on Agent skill, and analysis the function and structure of all Agents including the Teacher Agent, Student Agent, Mange Agent , Characteristic Analysis Agent, Login Agent and Navigator Agent.(3) Agent skill is main way to make network teaching system characterized, but how to express knowledge can help to make it completed.
