Agent-based Network Teaching System Design And Implementation,

Aiming at the flaws of the current network teaching systems, a kindof network teaching system based on the Agent technology is proposed.This system is based on the constructivism theory, and applies the multi-Agent technology and the mobile-Agent technology. It overcomes theshortcoming of the current network teaching systems whose personalityand intelligence degree is low.The whole structure of this system is introduced. The function andstructure of each static Agent is analyzed. The design idea of mobile-Agent is expounded from three aspects of categories, transferring routeand moving behavior. Aiming at the shortcoming of the existing studentmodels, which stress reflecting student knowledge ability and studyhistory, but lacks reflecting multi-level cognitive ability, a student modelthat can reflect cognitive ability is constructed. The method of evaluatingcognitive ability, recording study progress and computing study interest isproposed. In aspect of knowledge expression, in order to offer the overallview of discipline content the tree structure is used to organizeknowledge nodes. By setting some knowledge node attribute the semanticrelation between knowledge nodes is established to offer the basis tocontrol teaching sequence effectively. A strengthened study strategy basedon fault diagnosis is proposed. Test results are analyzed to find students'knowledge flaws, and according to the knowledge expression model aproper study path needed to be strengthened is "deduced to achieve thegoal to provide pertinent strengthened teaching for students.This system analyzes students' study situation, constructs dynamicly student model, and adjusts teaching strategies according to student modelso as to provide personalized teaching tutoring for students. Therefore,the personality and intelligence degree is strengthened. By applying themobile-Agent technology to accomplish communication between Agents,communication degree between users and system is enhanced.
