Agent-based Intelligent Computer Assisted Teaching System Design

Computer-Based Education (CBE) emerges to the latter stage of the fifties of the 20th century. Since 1990s', Internet has been developed rapidly, Internet technology causes the development of the computer assistance education,it makes it to enter overall and fast-developing new period. It is one of the most important directions of the information technical development to be intelligent.It is the inevitable requirement of the development of CBE. The intelligent computer aided teaching system (CAI) has already become the focus studied.Take an system based on auxiliary tutoring system of intelligence of agent for instance,the article put its development under discussion. On analysis of the requirement of the customer and the systems of this kind, the systematic module and function was determined. Then through the system structural design,the table design and front developed, has constructed based on multilayer structure. Based on the JSP, MS Agent and Access database technology, the author analyzed the key technology and questions of the design, and possess the auxiliary tutoring system of relevant functions. Our system consists of five main function modules: identification authentication module, student study module, teaching management module, forum management module , system management module. Five modules are independent, and collaborate with each other. They are integrated as a whole, and realize better the characteristics of the system, such as intelligent , security , easy using of the implementation system ,etc.In point of realizing, make use of JDBC-ODBC package of JSP and JavaBean to connect the webpage to the database. Make use of match of the word section to realize student's log-in and the teacher and the super-user's management of the log-in function. Make use of MS Agent technology to realize the study assistant's function. Implements the fuzzy inquiry about information of the student, teacher, exercise through the SQL operational command.The author made a brief introduction to an auxiliary tutoring systems of intelligence based on B/S, a kind of multilayer structure. Of course it is discussionabout this kind of system in rough. But because time restricts, it is what we will need to expand and study further in the future that systematic intellectuality will be designed.
