The Research On Network Teaching System Based On Agent

With the rapid development of technology of computer information, all of the countries make use of the advance information technique to reform and develop the education. The network teaching has the characteristics that it isn't restricted by time and space and the education resource can be shared. It can enlarge the scale of education, raise the speed of study, promote the reform of education, and support collaborative learning. As a result the network teaching has become the important direction of the international community education reform and developments. The network teaching is a new teaching form. It can carry out the teaching method that traditional teaching form can't achieve. Its price is cheap and has all kinds of forms. It was flexible and widely used. Network teaching is ideal means for distance education and school assistant teaching. In recent years, the network teaching system has already become the research heat of local education technique field, but it also has some problems. First, the system can't aim at the difference between students study, it can't provide personal study guidance, and it can't teach students in accordance of their aptitude. Second, the system's intelligence is lower. Third, the testing and evaluating functions of the system are not good enough. Four, there is not an effective guide to students in existing system.To overcome these problems, the Agent technology of AI field is adopted in the network teaching system. The Agent technology provided the new development space for the network teaching of research. The network teaching system in this paper was based on Agent technology, instructed by the constructive theory.I constructed B/A/S three layers structure in system design, namely display layer, Agent layer and data resource layer. Display layer is the interface for users. Agent layer was in the middle layer, it accomplish the kernel function of the system.
