MIL-STD-1553B has been widely equipped in aviation、navigation missile realms. Nowadays, it is a great challenge for data transforming and synchronizing in radar signal process> video signal collection and multi-media application areas. the digital technology has been developed so fast so complicated, and the most important and difficult part for a system design is to invent a high speed and highly reliable data transform channel.FC has the advantages of long distances transmission、low latency and high bandwidth. There are many companies has been used the technology in different application, and it will be a certain choice for both military and companies if we upgrade the current main stream bus system by using the FC, not only compatiable with massive current1553b bus devices but also save a lot money for a whole new data bus design, consequently it will be the first choise for no matter military or civil use.This article is proceed as follows, introducing the main system design solution for MIL-STD-1553B and FC, device choice. PCB design, Verilog algorithm for Manchester II, IPcore for FC interface, simple FC Protocol design and transition procedure from1553B to FC-AE-1553, as well as the simulation and onboard verify.
