In recent years, due to the spread of TV dramas, entertainment programs andtalent shows, the attention to children’s TV program in China is quite weak.Compared with researches in other categories, children’s TV program researchliteratures are not enrich and popular. While at the same time, new problems arecoming out with the rapid development of children’s TV programs. Based on theprevious studies on the basis of in-depth study, this paper analyzes problems in thisarea in a new angle, and develops those problems appeared in the last two years.Combing through relevant literature of recent thirty years, the author found that,although the number of current children’s TV program was increased several times,the quality of them were standstill in terms of non-children oriented program content,inaccurate program positioning, single format and homogeneous.Since2004, under the intervention of national policy, various provincialtelevision stations have launched a children’s channel, but a lot of children’s channelis occupied by other adult programs, TV broadcast platform for children’s TVprogram is insufficient, thus there is no condition to stimulated more excellentchildren’s TV programs.However, the fundamental reason for these problems is theeconomic benefit with the pursuit of high ratings.All in all, to solve the current problems of children’s TV program in China, weshould, on the one hand, overcome the influence from the Internet, high-techelectronic products,parents factors and other TV show; On the other hand, we shouldimprove the quality of children’s programs.The content needs to be corded withchildren’s cognitive habits and innovation. In order to create high-quality children’sTV program, we should focus on developing the green rating standard and a healthyindustry competition.
