The thesis uses CBN Weekly as a study case and examines the process of its news production, which attempts to reveal the relationship between financial magazines’ news production and its positioning.The thesis also studies the results of the news production to see whether there is a deviation from the expectations. The writer explores news production with sociological approaches such as field study and in-depth interview, supplemented with text analysis.At first, the thesis presents the core question and research methods. It also introduces the research results of news production and CBN Weekly.
