Design And Development Of Network Teaching System For Tilting Classroom

Blended learning, which combines digital learning and traditional learning methods, has become a new learning mode and has been proven to be more efficient than a simple e-learning. The Flipped Classroom as a typical hybrid learning mode combines the advantages of online education and classroom teaching. In practice, it has been a favorite of a large number of students. Development of computer and network communication technology provides the necessary information and technology support for the implementation of the flipped classroom. But China has no the network teaching system for flipped classroom specialized services, teaching practice needs an online platform which is able to provide a unique support network for the flipped classroom.This paper studies and designs a network teaching system of supporting flipped classroom. First, analyzes the present situation of domestic and foreign research on flipped classroom. Then summarize the existing teaching model of flipped classroom, designed flipped classroom model that is suitable for using in basic education in China. In the design of the teaching model, I take into account the differences of teaching strategies in different subjects. The system can be used in independent learning-based approach which teachers can guide alone, and group collaboration can also be used to complete the learning in the projects. Then based on the requirements of flipped classroom teaching model, design detailed function of the system. In the functional designing the system mainly provide the teachers and students’ status of learning and provide visual diagrams, as well as support for independent study and group functions to support collaborative learning. The system has the functions of login registration, classroom lectures, exercise and consolidate, learning state reflects, teacher and student communication, student assessment, group investigation, evaluation and other functions. Finally, develop the system using Java Web technology to achieve the basic functions of the main model. The system can support flipped classroom better, be suitable for use in basic education, and to provide effective technical support platform for the flipped classroom teaching.
