The in-depth development of educational informationization, the constant updation of information technology and teaching concept drive the appearance of flipped classroom. The flipped classroom reverses the traditional teaching process,in which learners compete the preminary study of knowledge by watching instructional vedios and other learning resources before class;during the class,learners achieve the further study of knowledge through discussion,completing tasks and evaluating works of learners.The flipped classroom creates a personalized learning environment and free learning space for learners.To explore the application effect of flipped classroom which apply to practical courses in university and how to apply the flipped classroom model in the teaching of universities.the study apply to the flipped classroom in the public elective course of The Multimedia Design.Firstlly,the writer rounded analyzed the contents and goals of the curriculum and learner’s characteristics and so on, constructed the teaching design model and the implementation procedure of flipped classroom,then builded the online learning platform and developed the learning resources.Secondly,under the guildance of the relative theories basis,the writer designed the teaching progranms of the curriculm and then the teaching practice of flipped classroom was carried out. Finally,the writer collected data by observation.questionnaires,interviews and other research method,and comprehensively summarized the teaching result of flipped classroom,which is looking forward to applying in the teaching of universitis.The teaching practic has proved that the flipped classroom model is successful in teaching of the curriculun of The Mutimedia Design.The model can greatly enhance the learners’ enthusiasm and interest,help settle learners’ question, is conducive to cultivate learners’ abilities,as well as improve the relationship between teacher and learner.However,it also is founded that some limitation,therefore,if the model of the flipped classroom will be widely used in teaching of universities,many problems need to be considered and further researched.
