With the extensive use of computer and electronic technology, the test and maintain of radar system gets higher. At present, the automated test system, as the product of the combination of modern testing and computer technology, becomes one key research and development direction in the national weaponry field. The design and realization of instrument management module in the radar circuit board fault diagnosis system is discussed in this thesis.The system consists of a TPS development platform and a TPS runtime platform. The TPS development platform implements visual edition of test strategy, while the TPS runtime platform executes automatically the TPS generated by the TPS development platform. Using the LabWindows/CVI software development environment, the software of instrument management module in both TPS development platform and TPS runtime platform is designed and realized.The signal-oriented approach is introduced in the designing of instrument graphical user interface. This method breaks away testers from boring programming task, which makes the TPS development efficient. The INI format text files are adopted to record the tester's configuration information, making the TPS development platform and the TPS runtime platform separated. The automated test of radar circuit board is supported by designing respectively the control software of each instrument, using the modularity software programming method. The self-check scheme and software provided in this thesis make the system reliable and stable in the process of circuit board test.The radar circuit board fault diagnosis system was established by integrating the result of this paper and other modules together. The system has already passed the national inspection and identification. The qualification and utilization results show that the system meets the design requirement, achieves the design target.
