| With the rapid development and wide use of the computer, network and communication technology, long-distance control technology, computer technology multimedia technology and communication technology have integrated. Theories and applications of the modern educational technology have penetrated into educational practices of all levels, constructing the modern teaching and learning pattern with many subjects. Multimedia classroom is becoming more and more widely used as a modern educational means, and its number has increased as well as the teacher users. It has become a significant project to monitor, control maintain and manage a large number of multimedia classrooms with the use of modern technological means.This thesis mainly researches the design and application of multimedia classroom network managing system. This system choose multimedia computer as the host computer in the long-distance central controlling center, the existing campus network as the transmission channel of the controlling information, centralized controller and IP controlling module as bridge to connect the facilities in the multimedia classrooms to the campus network. Then this system uses the technology project based on model of"host computer—campus network—IP controlling module—centralized controller (YXNET500IP)—multimedia facility (controlled equipment)—controlled equipment sensor data collecting—facility operating information feedback to host computer database", which realize the aim of distributing network managing of multimedia classrooms and teaching facilities.This thesis summarizesthe requirements analysis of the multimedia classroom network managing system and that the related technology and development tools for software developing; explains integrated design of the software and hardware for multimedia classroom managing system, discusses the function, operating theory and application of the multimedia facility centralized controller with YXNET500IP as its core, expatiates in detail the function, operating theory and application of the TCP/IP protocol-based IP network controlling module consisted of single chip machine and Ethernet network controlling chip as well as the collecting and storage of the multimedia facility operating information(including sensor'monitoring and collecting of the multimedia facility). Lastly, this thesis explains the function, operating theory design, application and testing of the multimedia classroom network managing system. |
