Study And Implementation Of Multimedia Classrooms Remote Control System Based On Campus Network

With the rapid development and wide application of computer, network and communications technologies, the web-based remote control techniques are gaining prominence. The web-based computerized multimedia classrooms are mushrooming in universities, colleges, schools and offices. To ensure the timely and effective maintenance and management of multimedia teaching equipment by limited human resources of the specialty, the system scheme and implementation technique that realize the remote control for multimedia classrooms by employing abundant campus network resources are proposed in the present paper.This system operates with the multimedia computer as host computer, campus network as transmission channel of information control and IP control module as bridge linking the centralized controller of the multimedia-classroom teaching equipment to the campus network, aiming at the realization of distributed network remote control. Also presented in the paper are generalizations of the development and present situation of computerized network remote control, the general design of the system's software and hardware, and the function, principle and implementation of the imbedded microcontroller---the multimedia centralized controller with the single-chip AT89C51 core and the IP control module with the AT89C54 plus the single-chip and Ethernet-network RTL8019AS core. Finally, the function, principle and on-site implementation of the soft system of multimedia-classroom remote control are clarified in detail.
