With advancement of times and social progress,information technology has pervaded all aspects of people's life.However,the following problems continue to exist in multimedia teaching in colleges and universities: audio-visual equipment maintenance personnel are unable to centralize management when facing more and more multimedia equipment,which caused poor maintenance efficiency;damaged equipment cannot be repaired in time,which interferes daily teaching;without statistical information on equipment and classroom,schools cannot manage those equipment on a more granular level.In order to solve the problem mentioned above,this paper designed and implemented a network-based multimedia classroom central control system.The system is mainly divided into two parts: the remote software management system and the central control unit inside the classroom.The design of the central controller in the classroom mainly used STM32F103ZET6 as the main control chip,and the control panel was designed;two piece of CD4051 and X9313 are used to switch and adjust the volume of the left and right channels of the multimedia classroom;the 74HC153,74HC125 and 74HC244 are used to switch HV component of VGA signal,and the relay module is used to switch RGB component of VGA signal;the serial port communication is used to control the projector;finally,the Ethernet chip DM9000 and TCP/IP protocol are utilized to design the network communication program,which completes the data exchange between the upper computer and multimedia classroom.The design of remote software mainly utilizes database technology and C++ technology.Based on the requirements of multimedia network central control system,we finished the database design,implementing multimedia equipment control management module,malfunction repair module and information management module.We eventually achieved remote control of multimedia equipment,keep record on malfunction equipment and service time.These record can be queried at any time.Compared with other design scheme,our system added equipment information management to software system,which made it easier for administrator to coordinate the utilization of multimedia equipment and classroom.As for hardware,we gave up on the modules which are rarely used in multimedia central control in the market.We pursue better cost performance,which facilitates daily use of teacher and enhances reliability of the system.
