Teaching evaluation is an important part of high school physics teaching. Although the whole evaluation system has been ajusted in a large scale since the curriculum reform was earned out, the paper test which is still one of the main evaluation methods, has not been eliminated. It is certain that the new curriculum also imposes new requirements on the design of the examination questions. How to implement the teaching evaluation by using the examination questions which conform to the concept of curriculum reform, is a question high school physics teachers must answer.This subject involving the design of high school physics exam, mainly refers to the design of unit test questions, the mid-term test questions and final test questions. Such questions are mostly designed for the target reference evaluation——to check whether learners have achieved the teaching goal by referring to physics "curriculum standard". Moreover, the excelent examination questions must be designed according to theories of measurement and psychology.In addition, this subject must highlight academic features by answering questions such as "what to test", and "how to check". With these issues in mind, the author has done the following work in the course of the study:I. Study the measurement theories, psychological theories and other relavant theories. Sort out relevant theories about the design of high school physics examination questions.II. Integrate high school physics knowledge, level of competence and cognitive dimension based on "curriculum standard" and Bloom’s cognitive goal classification theories. Determine the range of the design of high school physics exam.III. Study technical essentials and operational details of designing various questions, and illustrate how to choose the types of questions that are suitable for checking.IV. Study the general steps of the standardized examination design based on the fact that the effect of test depends on the skills of combining examination questions.V. Apply the theories to practice and do some summaries and reflections.The design of examination questions is one of high school physics teachers’ regular task. The author hopes that it can help to transform the teachers’test preparation by the studying of this subject.
