Objective: To observe and assess the theraputical effect of dissected and seton drainage for one-off cure of perianorectal abscess in infants.Methods: Choose 17 cases of perianorectal abscess in infants,all cases were dissected and received seton therapy. Observe the rate of curing healing, the wound infection after operation, the time of raw surface healing, the situation of faecal incontinence, the change of the appearance of anal and the long time after half-a-year of the cases.Results: All of the cases are fully recovery; No cases happen bleeding and infection after operation; The time of wound healing is from 13 days to 20 days, average 15.4 days; There is no case has faecal incontinence and change of the anus appearance after operation; No cases happen the recurrence of postoperative abscess and anal fistula after half-a-year.Conclusion: The dissected and seton therapy is satisfied on clinical utility,with few complications. The method could reduce the recurrence rate of postoperative abscess, could lower the recurrence rate of anal fistula, so it is reasonable for treating perianorectal abscess in infants.
