In addition, the advanced ideas of higher nursing education home and abroad and the advice given by nursing teachers, graduates, nursing supervisors in hospitals and clinical preceptors will be taken as reference. Finally, some ideas and advice on the reform of nursing curriculum in our college will be put forward. The research finds out that the current nursing curriculum in Shanghai Z Vocational and Technical College is not able to display the characteristics of nursing and such problems as out-of-date curriculum setting modes, over-loaded theoretical courses, lack of humanities and society education also exist. Besides, compared with secondary vocational nursing education and other formal schooling, its targets level is not clearly set and then loses its advantages over others. The thesis emphasizes that the solution to the above problems should firstly based on a definite training target and requirements for the post and attach more importance to the nursing practice, community and humanities centered in people's health. In this thesis, the ways to improve the quality of nursing education are proposed to improve the competitiveness of nursing students and thus satisfy the social needs of nursing professionals, which include changing curriculum setting modes, innovating teaching methods, adjusting the proportion of different subjects, etc.
