It was around 10 years since 21st century came. What Enterprises faces is a total different market from the old industrial economy period. Market globalization & Customer demands individuation has made the competition from within enterprises to within supply chains. Supplier management is an important part of enterprise supply chain management. How to apply supply chain's thought, techniques and method to improve supplier management, approach added value has become a key point for enterprise to improve core competition and gain competitive advantages.The thesis studied supplier management of Processing Unit TK Company, applied theories of supply chain and supplier management, analyzed current problems in supplier management of Processing Unit TK Company. It mainly studied from supplier evaluation and selection, supplier daily management and supplier relationship management, discussed the improve measures. Main content of this thesis includes five chapters.The 1st chapter introduces the concept of supply chain, supply chain management and supplier management, points out the importance of supplier management to the enterprise. It also compared the characters of traditional and modern supplier management, and mentioned that setting up long term relationship, focusing on decrease of supply chain total cost, reduce numbers of supplier and realize enough information share are the requests of modern supplier management. The 2nd chapter studied current status of supplier management of Processing Unit TK Company, analyzed the main problems and pointed out the importance for Processing Unit TK Company to improve supplier management. It will help to improve customer satisfaction, reduce purchasing cost, steady product quality and optimize supplier resources.The 3rd chapter classified the purchasing material and suppliers of Processing Unit TK Company based on Material Breakdown Model, pointed out that supplier management should be different to different type supplier on condition of limited resources. Then it discussed ways to set up supplier evaluation index system and selection.The 4th chapter discussed how to improve supplier daily management of Processing Unit TK Company from cost, quality, delivery and performance management. It pointed out, it is necessary to use different cost analysis ways for different type supplier and focus on total cost of ownership. It also discussed ways to evaluate quality insurance system and give suggestions on improve delivery management of Processing Unit TK Company, especially introduced just-in-time purchase.The 5th chapter studied the supplier relationship management of Processing Unit TK Company. It pointed out that for different type supplier different relationship and management ways should be applied. It also discussed the steps to set up supplier relationship, conflicts management, relationship inspiring ways and sustainable improvement.Hope the discussion and study will do some help to supplier management of Processing Unit TK Company and similar enterprise.
