With economic globalization and the growing international market, the world market’s competitive landscape has changed fundamentally. Nowadays competition in the market is no longer a competition between enterprises, but the competition between supply chains. Supplier Management is the beginning of the supply chain; which determines the operational efficiency throughout the supply chain and is directly related to enterprises’competitiveness in the market, and then receives more and more business concern and attention.In this paper, base on supplier management theory related to analyze Z company supplier management situation, and point out the problems in the supplier selection, supplier classification and supplier relationship management of Z company supplier management. Combined with Z Company, using the Analytic Hierarchy Process (AHP) to sort the suppliers and choose the best supplier; using ABC classification to define the suppliers elected into three levels and make different management strategy to run supplier smoothly; also offer the appropriate measures to improve the relationship with suppliers. In the same time, this paper evaluates the improvement of Z company supplier management in a brief. In the end, summarizing the paper and refer to the existing shortcoming and the direction and focus of supplier management in future.
