Since the advent of the 21 st century,China has achieved rapid economic development.Domestic demands for coals and other energies have been unprecedented.The swift development of coal machines has met crying needs of coal development.In 2014,an indepth adjustment was witnessed in China's economic structure,resulting in a sharp decline in demands for coal machines.In the face of new development situations,various coal machine equipment manufacturing enterprises are exploring innovational management models.As an important link of operation management of Company T,purchase management also calls for optimized improvement so as to improve its core competence and survival capability.This paper first analyzes the status of purchase management of Company T.Based on statistical analysis of data about the inventory turnover rate and the contract completion rate,three suggestions for optimization of purchase management of Company T are formulated: 1)Adopt different purchase management methods according to different kinds of materials.Through the 2D Kraljic Matrix,the original material classification methods of Company T are improved,and the AHP(Analytic Hierarchy Process)is adopted for weight calculation of the material feature indexes.In this paper,classification of 25 materials of Company T is demonstrated.After re-classification of materials,differentiated purchase strategies can be put in place.2)Improve the selection and evaluation methods of suppliers.To the end,a taskforce specially for selection and evaluation of suppliers should be established to clarify selection and evaluation procedures,indexes and weight of these indexes.3)Upgrade performance evaluation of suppliers: By analyzing problems existing in the original management style of Company T,the author points out the direction for improved performance management of suppliers.The suppliers' performance evaluation procedures of Company T are re-summarized.The gray correlation modeling method is employed to conduct qualitative and quantitative calculation of performance indexes of suppliers,and the weight of every index is scientifically distributed.At the same time,according to final correlation and grade-rating results of suppliers' performance,corresponding incentive plans are formulated for suppliers.At the end of this paper,purchase management optimization of Company T is summarized;the inventory turnover rate and the contract completion rate of Company T before and after improvement are quantitatively compared;and the effectiveness of the optimization methods put forward by the author are proved.All in all,this research can provide both theoretical and practical references for improvement of companies' purchase efficiency and differentiated management of suppliers.
